(I know the USU logo is bigger than the others. I apologize but I guess USU has a better media relations department that will allow you to download their logo, the others did not.)
I am sure many of you know my hubby and I are on opposite sides of the sports fence.
I joke that we had to meet at USU because it was neutral territory. We both graduated from Utah State. My allegiances belong to Utah State now. This is thanks to my parents and the Beach Boys, Be True to Your School. Andy still is died in the wool true BYU blue.
Yesterday was the start of a great season in our lives. Football season. It was a rough day for me though. The Utes and the Aggies were playing but the problem came in the opponents colors. I could not wear my Aggie Blue all day cause those are Michigan colors nor could I wear Utah red all day since those are the colors of UNLV. What is a girl to do? I switched shirts after the Utah game:)
The question is often asked who will your boys cheer for? I say let them choose for themselves the path to follow. Alex wants to cheer for Michigan right now. Logan is still a little young still, or so I thought. Yesterday he found Big Blue on my shirt and was so excited. I said go Aggies and he repeated back, "Go Ayees" It melted my heart. What does the future hold for this house divided? No one is sure of that but for now fall is in the air and pads are crashing on lush green turf. Welcome to fall!!!
