Memorial Day

We decided to take a break and escape to SLC for the memorial day holiday. We spent a little bit of time at This is The Place Park on Friday and then went to dinner. The next day while Andy and I worked grandma and grandpa spoiled the boys with a day of fun. They went to baby animal day at This is the Place as well as a movie and then came home and made smores. Thank heavens for fun grandparents!! We also took our annual trip to American Fork to the cemetery and family history tour.

Yes that is a doggy door Logan is crawling through.

Farewell Sunrise Elementary!!

Alex finished 2nd grade which meant he graduated from that elementary school. He will be going to a brand new school next year. Time is flying by and I am not sure how Alex is old enough to be in 3rd grade.

School Play

Alex's class put on a really fun class play at the end of the year. They had songs, poems and a few scenes. My video camera and my computer don't like each other so you will just have to deal with pictures and trust that he was great.

Farewell tonsils

We discovered at Logan's yearly PCMC trip that his tonsils were huge. We took him to a local ENT who decided to take them out along with replacing his tubes This was Logan's 6th suregery. POOR KID!!! Logan has always been a little bit of a mama's boy. I wish I would have remembered I had my camera in my pocket when he went back to surgery so I could have captured this moment. He just took the anesthesiologist's hand and his bablia and calmly walked back like it was no big deal. He was a trooper and never complained too much.

Waiting to be called back.

Killing time before sugery.
We had Logan sleep in our room the first week just so he would be close to us. When I went in to check on him this is what I found:

Health Days

Every May our cute little city puts on a great parade with lots of candy. Alex's school marches in it so Logan and I go and wait to see him. We love this parade and all its small town cheesyness.

Patiently waiting for the parade to start

Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley came for a visit all the way from Washington DC. We had a lot of fun taking him around campus, eating Aggie Ice Cream and touring a cheese factory. He even got to play goalie at Alex's soccer game. Thanks for coming to visit Stanley.

Soccer

Alex had another great season of soccer. He is learning to be a bit more aggressive with the ball and to have fun the game. His favorite position to play is goalie.
