Last night my hubby and I went to hob nob with some political folks here. It was a really nice evening.
As I sat down my hubby introduced me to the other people at the table. Then it hit me, if they ask how many kids I have what do I say? I asked hubby and he said we have 2. But I don't have 2, I have 3. How do I include our sweet baby girl without making everyone feel awkward? Thankfully, no one asked but it got me thinking. I still am not sure how to answer. Hopefully, the next time I am asked I will have figured it out. It is the simple things in life that I use to take for granted that now are the hard things.

Surgery #8, I think
Logan went in to get new tubes on the 16th. We were hoping to combine this surgery with his major one in April but we were not that lucky. He did very well and was back to his normal self just an hour after his surgery. I am so glad he is so resilient.
This is how we entertain ourselves while we wait.
Off he goes

A weekend of Love
Our Valentine's weekend started on Thursday with a preschool party for Logan. He was so excited to take his Valentine's and even more excited to bring pounds of sugar home. On Friday the boys got a package from grandma filled with more sugar and Valentine's fun. Sunday we made our traditional sugar cookies and Monday we sent balloons to Emma. Overall, it was a great weekend spending time with just our family, whom we LOVE!!

BYU
For Alex's birthday Andy got him a ticket to see Jimmer live. I was lucky enough to be off of work so we went down as a family. I sent Alex and Andy to the game and Logan and I went to lunch with my old roommates. Before we went our separate ways we went to the Hall of Champions? (not sure what it is called.) Alex wanted to see the national championship trophy. We were even lucky enough to get back into the football offices. My boys were in BYU heaven!!

Valentines for Emma
We are heading down to Provo on Saturday so we decided for family home evening to make Valentine's for Emma. It was such a fun project. I love seeing my boys be creative.
