I have made a goal to be caught up on my blog by the end of next week. I am feeling overwhelmed right now with so many fun things and fun pictures I don't even know where to start. So don't pay attention to your side bar that says I haven't updated in 4 weeks. I will be dating everything as when they took place and link them here. Have fun playing "catch" with us.

Dance and Rock Fest
Alex has always loved music and has good rhythm. Logan has been a little bit slower catching the groove but with new tubes came rhythm. Check out the most darling dancing and playing stars. Alex's video won't load so I guess you get to just see Logan in action.

Logan's music video
Logan has become quite the singer lately. We will hear him all the time just humming something quitely to himself. It is so fun to watch the world of sound open up to him.

More Holes
Alex has now lost four teeth. The bottom one came out on its own and for some odd reason I don't have a picture of it. The top two decided to come out at the same time. It was a good thing because they were sticking almost straight out of his mouth. Alex came running downstairs and said mom look. He smiled at me to reveal a gaping smile. The tooth fairy was way too generous to him.
Look at that cute holey smile.

This is my 200th post. Kind of fitting.
Alex finished 1st grade yesterday. I can't believe he is old enough alreayd. He is such a great kid and we sure love him. He adds a fun sparkle to our family. He is always so kind and caring, he loves to ride his bike and he loves to be outside. Thanks Alex for letting me be your mom. You have done so well in school and I am so proud of you. The rain, rain, rain came down, down, down...
And rushed right into our neighborhood. The month of June was crazy for rain. We average about 1/2 an inch of rain for our area and we ended up with somewhere around 4 inches.
The night of June 2nd was the craziest rain storm I have ever seen. (I have lived in Oregon so I know all about rain.) The thunder was loud and continuous, the lightning bright and crackly, and the rain was heavy and constant. I am not sure why I didn't think to take pics that night but I didn't. At about 9:30 as we were all shuffling up to bed we get a loud knock on the door. Andy opens it and our neighbor informs us that there is water in our window well. Andy went outside to investigate while I go downstairs to start building a dam. Andy said there was probably about a foot of water in the window well when he went outside and the window was bailed 3 times in an hour.
The aftermath
The last bail out.
The next few days brought more rain and instead of fearing it we decided to embrace our new friend. We danced in the rain and loved every minute of it. Fortunately for us we did not flood again. Our neighbors were not so lucky and we ended up bailing them out. It was a crazy week and I now have blueprints for an ark if anyone needs them.
A river runs through it.
