(I know the USU logo is bigger than the others. I apologize but I guess USU has a better media relations department that will allow you to download their logo, the others did not.)
I am sure many of you know my hubby and I are on opposite sides of the sports fence.
I joke that we had to meet at USU because it was neutral territory. We both graduated from Utah State. My allegiances belong to Utah State now. This is thanks to my parents and the Beach Boys, Be True to Your School. Andy still is died in the wool true BYU blue.
Yesterday was the start of a great season in our lives. Football season. It was a rough day for me though. The Utes and the Aggies were playing but the problem came in the opponents colors. I could not wear my Aggie Blue all day cause those are Michigan colors nor could I wear Utah red all day since those are the colors of UNLV. What is a girl to do? I switched shirts after the Utah game:)
The question is often asked who will your boys cheer for? I say let them choose for themselves the path to follow. Alex wants to cheer for Michigan right now. Logan is still a little young still, or so I thought. Yesterday he found Big Blue on my shirt and was so excited. I said go Aggies and he repeated back, "Go Ayees" It melted my heart. What does the future hold for this house divided? No one is sure of that but for now fall is in the air and pads are crashing on lush green turf. Welcome to fall!!!

Studio 5 Made my Boys Famous
Studio 5 had a fun game show back in May. Alex really wanted to play but I told him he was not old enough. I emailed his dad's entry for him figuring we would never make the game show. Well we were not picked for the game show but they are famous. Check this out:

Alex Starts First Grade
Alex started first grade today and he was not nervous at all. He came home from school and was so excited about eating lunch at school. I asked him if there was anything he was nervous about and he said nope. He is growing up way too fast.

Swimming Lessons

Alex decided that swimming was going to be ok this year. We signed him up for swimming as the last activity of the summer. It was timed perfect with the Olympics. He was so brave and was not afraid of the water at all. He is a swimmer now and he wants to swim in the Olympics like Micheal Phelps. Enjoy the videos and pics.

Slip N Slide

We love pool days at our house. It is a tradition we started last year and we continued it this year. We added one fun event, the slip n slide. Everyone has loved it and it was the best $10 we have spent. Enjoy the pics!!!

Olympics!
I hate the fact that I had to get up so early for work that I missed seeing this awesome event live. When I went on break I turned on the tv just as they started an interview with one of the swimmers so i quickly changed the channel. Finally at 11:00 am I got to watch one of the best sporting events I have ever seen. I was so into it that I was yelling go, go and Logan was yelling right along with me. If you have not seen this awesomeness you must see it.

The Williams Visit
Andy and his cousins were always really close growing up. At any family event it was always Jeff, Andy and Micheal. When it came time to name Logan we wanted to honor that bond and Logan's middle name is Micheal. We were so excited when they called and said they had a reception up here and they wanted to come visit. They live in Wisonsin. Alex was down at grandma's so Logan decided he needed to be the star of the show. We have never seen him act like this before.

County Fair
We went to the fair this year and it was so much fun. Logan loved seeing all of the animals and Alex wanted to ride on the rides. I will let the pics tell the story.
If you can't tell Logan is signing piggy.

This is one of the cutest pics we have taken of Alex.
We had a blast!!!
