I have wanted to blog for so long but life just gets in the way. After being on the computer for work for 8 hours the last thing I want to do is be on the computer. I finally decided that I just need to do it. I am now caught up through the end of February:) So scroll on down and check out what our fam has been doing the last 3 months.

Logan
This boy is constantly on the go. The only time he stops is when he is tired. It is often hard to convince him that he needs sleep. Sometime just like the Energizer bunny he wears out and falls asleep wherever he is. This is his favorite spot:

Those are the stairs.

Rainbow Cupcakes
I founds this recipe on Family Fun and thought it would be a lot of fun to make. So on Sunday morning we set out to try this experiment. These turned out so cool and my boys loved helping me make them. We didn't take a picture of the inside of the cupcake so you will have to make your own to see the end result.

A new Bobcat!!!
Alex earned his Bobcat award thanks mostly to his awesome grandma who helped him work on it when she was up here. He is really enjoying scouting and loves his scout leaders. They make things really fun!!!

St. Patrick's Day
We have contracted with a leprechaun to come and cause chaos in our house and leave us gold. The boys love this tradition and every year it is something new.

After our gold hunt we sat down to a yummy green breakfast.
All day was spent having fun and enjoying all things green. Logan still pinches us and says "you not wearing green."

Duck feeding
My boys love to feed the ducks at First Dam so one Saturday we just woke up and decided to go even though there was still snow on the ground. It was a lot of fun but the ducks were really feisty and Logan almost got eaten by a goose. I have never seen a challenge from a goose when someone was just standing there doing nothing. It was very scary!!

I loved the duck prints in the snow.

We love Dr Seuss!
Dr. Seuss has always been one of my favorite children's authors. I love to read them to my kids and laugh at all of the silliness. We decided to celebrate him with one of our favorites, Green Eggs and Ham.

February Blues
The day after Alex's baptism Andy left for some job hunting in DC. I was by myself for 2 weeks. My normally healthy children decided this would be a great time to get super sick. Logan got croup for the first time ever and Alex had his ilius come back. I ended up in the ER with Alex on Valentine's Day because he just wouldn't eat and he was so dehydrated. Thanksfully my mom had taken some time off work and was up here that weekend. It was crazy!! The next weekend my MIL came up and helped me out with te kiddos while I worked my first of I am sure many weekends. Thank heavens for great moms who are quick to lighten the load. I also decided to surpise Andy with a newly decorated bathroom. It sounded like a good idea until I went to execute the plan. In the end it all worked out and I think turned out great.
Making cookies
Logan loved the mess of this project.
The decorated bathroom
This is where I found Logan one day just having so much fun.
