Andy's Birthday week adventures!!

This post is long overdue and long winded as well. There are a lot of pics so sit back and enjoy. Sorry Andy this post is so late.
I try and make every ones birthday a fun thing. I don't want it to be one day and done. I decided to do an activity a day building up to his birthday on Friday.
On Monday we went to Mantua to do some fishing. Andy has wanted to go out there forever but with my work schedule it just never happened. I happened to be off Tuesday so off we went for a night of family fun. Within five minutes of being there Logan had fallen into the lake and was soaked head to toe. Andy and Alex were able to catch a few fish but they were just tiny. A little while later Logan tripped and again was back in the lake. He was not a happy camper so he and I went back to the car while daddy and Alex fished. Alex and Andy had a lot of fun together.
Tuesday I did not plan anything because I thought he would have church meetings. He didn't so we just stayed home.
Wednesday night Alex wanted to do a full surprise, blindfold and all. There is an awesome park up here that has a creek running through it. It is perfect for wading and playing in so that is where we took daddy. We had a lot of fun splashing and staying cool.
Thursday the boys went off to the basketball courts to play while I decorated the house. I was just getting things set up when Alex walked back in the house. I asked why they were home and he said dad was stung by a hornet. Not a good birthday present.
Friday we went miniature golfing, another of Alex's suggestions. Andy also went fishing since he did not have to work.
We celebrated his birthday on Saturday with a yummy Seafood Alfredo and his favorite Oatmeal Chocolate Cake.
Overall it was a fun week and we hope daddy enjoyed being the center of attention. We love you daddy.
