Family Night with a Cow

Our little valley FINALLY got one of my favorite restaurants- Chick-Fil-A. They have all kinds of fun family events like story time and family night. We had seen the cow outside Chick-Fil-A and Logan wanted to go see him. We found out it was cow's birthday on the 23rd so we figured what better day to go. The boys were disappointed to find out that it was a princess cow but they still had a blast. Plus we all love their waffle fries!!

St. Patrick's Day

The boys woke up and found that the leprechaun had come again. There was gold all over the house along with messes everywhere we went. Then we ate a green breakfast, shamrocks for lunch and a green dinner. A few days later we made our traditional rainbow cupcakes. We love holidays at our house!!

Divine Signatures

I had an awesome mission companion send me this book. I LOVED it!!! I have 2 good friends who are also blessed with angels that I wanted to send the book too. One of my friends just celebrated her daughter's 8th birthday in Heaven. I could not think of a better gift to give her.
The book arrived at her house yesterday and today I got an email from my friend thanking me for the book. She said you have to see this. She had attached a copy of the packing slip and thought it was my very own "divine signature. Check it out:

What are the chances of that? I literally got goose bumps when I pulled up the picture. My favorite quote from Elder Lund's book is, "Coincidence is the word we use when we can't see the levers and the pulleys." If you haven't read this book I would suggest getting it. It is an awesome book. I am grateful to a friend that followed a prompting to send it to me. I am grateful for a knowledge that we are not going through life on our own. There are always angels watching over us and helping us make it back home to them.

I do not like them Sam I am

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday we had green eggs and ham for dinner. We also read the Cat and the Hat while we ate. Thanks Dr. Seuss for some of our favorite books.
