We had another packed day in Yellowstone. We started out the day by returning to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery center. We got there just in time to see them feed the wolves. Andy and Alex loved watching the wolves hunt the fish in the river and then pounce. Logan just wanted to play so I took him over to the playground. Our first stop in Yellowstone was the Firehole falls. It was there that the boys and Andy were able to feed the chipmunks right out of there hands. We then drove to the Firehole river where the boys were able to swim and play. The water was surprisingly warm. We then stopped at a group of geysers as well as some magnificent hot springs. After that we went to Old Faithful. The boys loved to watch the geyser shoot to the sky. Inside Old Faithful Inn we stopped to get ice cream and shop for some souvenirs. Just as we were taking our purchases to the counter the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated from the building. As we were walking back to the car Logan got to see a fire engine drive by. That was the highlight of his day. After Old Faithful we headed to Jackson Lake Lodge to see Andy's favorite place, the Tetons. We ate dinner at the lodge and then headed to Snake river lookout. It was at this lookout 10 years ago where we took our engagement pictures. It was fun to share this memory with the boys. From there we headed home, which took a little longer due to getting lost. Thankfully the boys slept the whole time. We had such a fun trip and I am sure we will be returning very soon.
