What we have been up to

Logan is just as crazy as ever. We are working on potty training this week and he is wearing big boy underwear today. We will see how it goes.

Alex is still loving school. He is really getting into art. He is constantly drawing something. He had the day off from school on Friday so we went to the zoo up here. It was a lot of fun.


As we were getting ready for the zoo our friends the Davis' called. They had four extra tickets to the Aggie game and wondered if we wanted to go. Of course we did.

Now let me share some insight about me then back to the story. I grew up a HUGE U of U fan. My whole family had gone to the U. I was the black sheep of the family that came to USU. That being said between both of my schools my dislike of the Cougars is very strong. Now I did marry one so it does get a little dicey at times.
(If you are a BYU fan do not read this part. If you do do not take offense to this next part it is just an opinion. I am tired of hearing about BYU this year. I am tired of their holier than thou attitude. One of Andy's friends put my feeling into words so well. I am tired of them using religion to sell football.)
Anyway back to the game. We attended the tailgating party before the game so we were all decked out in our Aggie gear and face paint. We were ready to rumble. We took the boys and I figured it would be a blow out so we would leave at the half. Well there was quite an intensity at the half and it was only 24-0. I wanted to stay. The boys did great and they were so patient. Alex even saw some shirts that said YBU and so he was screaming that. The fourth quarter started and man that is the best quarter of football I have watched in a long time. I was screaming so loud I was hoarse the next day. I think BYU underestimated us big time. To me that was a win. We knocked them off their high horse and I think they got a little scared that night. Here are some pic of us at the game:

Last but not least Alex and I have been watching the baseball playoffs. My beloved Dodgers were playing the Chi Cubs and were a major underdog. Well they came out and proved everyone wrong. They swept the Cubbies so they are now on to the NLCS. Go Dodgers!!!
