Should I be concerned?

I am sure many of you have noticed that I have a tracker on my blog. Today I checked it out to see who is visiting me. It said 118 people have visited my blog today. That is a lot, I think it is anyway, especially since I never get anyone to comment on my blog.
This is a chart of the last 7 days-
Isn't that crazy?
Two entries did raise my eyebrows a little bit. One was listed as FDIC.gov but I could not trace how they got to my blog. The second was just the IP address but when I clicked on it it said Government of the District of Columbia. Am I being watched by someone in the government and what do they want? The one from the Gov't of DC spent 9:19 sec on my blog and looked at 3 pages. Maybe I am listed as a terrorist and my computer is now being spyed on who knows. If you are they who is reading this let me know what you want with me. I would be glad to take a cabinet position in the new White House if you would like.:)
Random tangent: Due to my tracker I know there a lot of people who visit and no one ever comments. So come out of hiding and tell me who you are and how you found me. I would love to know.

I'm terrible about leaving comments....so, guilty as charged here!

Check your settings....maybe you have it set so that you show up in search engines and random people are finding you that way. Unless you're trying to drive traffic to your site, you don't really need to have that turned on. Did you check the details on your site meter to see what the referring URL's were for all of those visits? Sometimes when I have an influx of visitors to my site, I notice that people find me by searching for keywords on google and the search results bring up my site. Who knows....maybe you're just super popular!

I am not the government, or spying on you, but your pics are really cute. Your boys are getting big (well....they're growing up!) Logan is darling and I'm glad to hear he is healthy and that Alex has some artistic genes. Did those come from you?

i confess that i haven't looked at your blog in i don't know how long (mainly because a) i lost the address, b) i forgot you have one!), but if DC is checking out your blog, it's one of two things: 1. you said something in one of your blogs that triggered an alert, or b. someone in the pentagon is bored and surfing blogspot just for kicks. my guess is the latter. :)

No Kate I am in no way an artist. As for being a terroirst maybe my post on Sarah Palin caused an issue of some kind.
Jenn, I did check out the referring websites and nothing is out of the ordinary. A few seraching for Oquirrh Mt. Temple but nothing crazy. Plus I have a google image so that pulls up when searched. That has been that way since Dec though. Hmm a mystery I say.
Whatever you want I will cooperate fully. As long as you will fly us to DC to do it:)

You don't know me. Your blog is cute. I got here from the link The cutest Blog on the Block because you won a blinker and I wanted to see your blog to see what they thought was cute. I agree.

so i think maybe i can help with one of the mysteries...my brother and sister-in-law live in DC. maybe my sister-in-law checked your blog through mine and that's why it showed up. hopefully that's what it is and not the fact that you are being stalked by the government :)
