Andy's grandpa passed away from a stroke on February 9th. It is hard saying goodbye to someone who has been such a big part of our life. He was the one who married us, he loved me like I was his own, we always felt welcome in his home and now there is a huge hole left behind. I find peace in knowing Emma is doing little black sambo with him and learning all about great-grandpa. We will miss you so much grandpa.
At the viewing it was interesting to watch Logan. As soon as he got there he went right to Grammy and didn't leave her side. It was almost as if he was being directed by someone to watch over her. He didn't move for almost an hour and only then when someone else came and took her out of the room. I am sure he was in tune with the spirit and was being told to watch out for her.
It was a wonderful service honoring a man who was a true example of Christlike love and service. He was always serving others and loving them unconditionally. The world is a better place because of him. He leaves a legacy behind that I hope we all can follow and become more like him and our Savior.
