I have decided I am in a life slump, more of a rut that I can't seem to get out of. Life has been a lot of fun but for some reason I just can't get the umph I need to go forward. I have so much to blog about but I can't quite get myself to do it. There are a ton of goals, ideas, plans and dreams in my head and yet I can't reach to them to proceed forward. So my friends I reach out to you, how do you push yourself to move? I want to be better, I need to be better and yet I just can't. Hmmmmm I will spend the weekend pondering this while we go off to play. And I promise sometime really soon you will get to see how the Ras fam does summer. Stay tuned!!!

(see my blog for details)- I hope things get better!
gosh, m. i wish i could help, but sadly i think i'm in the same slump. in fact, most of the people i know seem to be in such a phase o' slumpiness. is there something in the air?
Hi Friss. Hmmm, I echo Julia's sentiments...I will say that I found great inspiration in two articles the August Ensign. I rarely feel like an Ensign article "speaks to me" (possibly due, lately, to said slump and lack of spiritual connection on my part), but I did this time. One is the VT message about "Seek Education and Lifelong Learning" and the other is' Opening the Heavens" by Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi. I would elaborate, but I hear McKay waking up from his nap, so I need to run. Good luck!
So glad that you are back blogging! I missed you at the reunion, but wore Utah T-shirts the whole time and tried to represent! I am in the slump as well. No idea how to fix it :)
Can it be as old fashioned as set goals daily, as small as they may be and do them and cross them off the list! Set goals weekly and do them and cross them off the list. You'll see your progress and maybe some motivation will come. I find I'm in slump when I'm not getting enough sleep too and I'm not eating right . I second reading the ensign articles in August and September, they spoke to me too. Good luck! I think near the end of each season is the most popular time to be in slumps. Cheer up the HOLIDAYS are on their way! I'm getting excited for Halloween costumes!take care, Melissa
